'Niho Taniwha' Semi Circle Earrings
Niho taniwha translates to taniwha teeth. It is a popular Maori pattern found on tukutuku panels. The triangle shape of the niho taniwha represents strength, stability, and the repetitive pattern symbolises a cheif’s lineage, stories, histories and myths passed down over time.
